[STORY] THE FAMILY VISIT

I lived in a block full of paranormal activity. I also contain the power to see and communicate with spirits. My friend told me a ghost story about an old family that died in the attic at my house. We were having a sleepover alone at my house when he told me this story.

Matt, the teller of the story said that the mother, Valentine, was cooking when their father, Charles, came home drunk. He was so angry because his wife didn't finish cooking when he came. That night, he took a butcher knife and gutted his wife. He stuffed her dead carcass in their attic. He went to sleep like nothing happened. The next morning, his two kids asked where was their mother. He replied with a lie, telling them that she had left them because she had an affair. That night, the eldest son, Lionel, had to cook since their mom had “left” them. Their dad had come that night drunk like the previous. Lionel wasn’t done cooking and Charles got irritated and plotted Lionel’s demise. That night he took the same butcher knife and slit his throat. He also took his body and threw it in the attic. The following morning, Charles’ daughter, Stephanie, asked where Lionel went. Charles told her that he had run away when they were sleeping. Stephanie had to cook dinner. Stephanie had fallen to sleep and her dad came home. He was drunk than ever and had gotten angry. He took his butcher knife and tried to cut her heart out, but she screamed before he could. He eventually did, threw her body in the attic, and continued with his night. The neighbors heard her scream and called the police. The police arrived a few minutes later and scared Charles. He committed suicide to look as if someone else murdered his family. When the police came, the whole family was murdered. The house look as if it were a slaughter house, blood dripping from the ceiling, blood stains on the walls, and the screams of four family members suffering in the hands of their own father.

The story ended with everyone terrorized that in my very house was the carnage that took away four innocent souls from this world and passed on to the next. As we sat in silence in the pitch-black room, we heard a knocking at the door.

Everyone said, ”AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!”

After we calmed down a bit, Matt opened the door and there stood a little girl. She was drenched from the stormy weather outside. She looked very weak and skinny.

The little girl asked, “Can I come in and eat? I am very cold and hungry.”

Matt answered, “ Yeah….. Sure…… Ummmmm…. Let me get you some food.”

Matt went in the kitchen followed by the girl. As she ate her food, she felt pain from her chest. She said that her pain was just a result form being outside in the stormy weather.

I asked, “ Do you want to stay for the here?”

She answered back, “ Sorry no I don’t want to be a burden.”

I said, “ Oh no its nothing. I wouldn’t want you to get sick from the rain outside on this cold night.”

She replied, “ Okay. Thank you.”

The sleepover was over and everyone went home. My parents came home shortly after the sleepover. I told them about the little girl that stayed here. They were shocked about letting her in, but I explained that I couldn’t let her go back outside. We let her stay that night.

The next morning, she disappeared! I looked for her everywhere. I decided that she left early in the morning and didn’t want to disturb us while we slept. We went on with our day as if nothing happened.

That night, there was a knock at the door. It was the little girl. My mom answered the door and told her that if she wanted to stay, she had to tell them if she was going to leave. She apologized for leaving and she agreed to our condition. This night she said that her chest was hurting to the point to where she as having trouble breathing. We asked her if she was all right. She said it was nothing, as if she dealt with it all the time. So we went to sleep and she left the next morning.

We went looking for her in the morning, but gave up when we couldn’t. That night, there was another knock on the door. It was the little girl. My mom answered the door and told her that she can’t stay anymore if she keeps leaving without permission. My mom also said that they were worried sick. My dad came and asked who was at the door. He was petrified. He asked if the girl was Stephanie that was killed by her father long ago. Her father had cut her heart out off her chest. Stephanie said yes and that she was very thankful for taking care of her. Then suddenly we saw a flash of bright light. We heard Stephanie say thank you and good bye.

That was the last time I saw Stephanie, but I am still waiting for the day that her mother and brother came so that we may help them cross over. Her father scares me and I hope he never shows up.

Oh! I was touched by this story! T-T I wan't scared at all! ^^ that girl is probably needs something to eat. If I were that family, I would rather accept that girl and I will let her live w/ me in my house. So I could have someone to talk to! ^^
