Two years back, a female, street dog gave birth to two puppies just outside our house.

We were only there to take care of them. They were very sweet. One of the female puppies, we named Chinky, as she was very naughty. Chinky always came inside my home, and messed with things. My parents also loved them very much. Chinky usually runs here and there and plays all the time with us. In our neighborhood, nobody likes dogs and so someone kicked these two puppies. One day when I came home from school, I was told that Chinky was kicked by a motorbiker. Me and my brother suddenly rushed to her and took her to a hospital. After doing x-rays, the doctor told us that her left leg was totally broken and we had to do an operation immediately. He also told us that there was only 50% chance that she would survive. It was really a hard thing for us. We were helpless at that time and we left Chinky to the hospital with sad hearts. She was crying and shouting at us when she saw that we were going to leave without her. I saw her innocent eyes and I just walked away. I started crying, but I was helpless. The doctor did not allow us to stay in the hospital. He told me that he would call us in the morning.

After leaving her alone, I was feeling sad . Next morning around 4:00 AM, my mother woke up and shouted that Chinky was outside and barking. I suddenly woke up from the bed and ran towards the door. I also heard the voice of Chinky. But when I opened the door, there was nothing. I then realized there was no way Chinky could be there, as she was in hospital. Then we received a phone call around 4:15 AM from the hospital. The doctor told my mother that around 3:50 AM, Chinky stopped breathing and died. I was shocked and started crying, but then we came to realize that Chinky really came here after her death to see us one last time. Her soul was standing outside my house to make us feel her. She loves us very much.

*sniffing* This is somewhat related to me. *sigh* I had a dog before. We played together happily not knowing he will die soon. We were like kids & almost giggled. ;) I brought him to my room and lay him to my bed. He was so crazy at that moment. ;) He likes to turn round and round & round. Then he will bark at me to please me. ;) In short, he wants me to play with him. At that day, it was raining so hard outside and my mom isn't yet home. I'm recording an audition video while he's playing around my room. He's so naughty, indeed! ;) But one day, I didn't even realize that in just one moment he will die because of choking a bone. T_T He was always staying below our car and stare to us just like a normal stare without a worry. Another morning came, my mother saw him pale and didn't eat his food. Until few minutes later, my mom found out that he's dying. T_T We couldn't do anything. T_T We don't have any money to bring him in the hospital. Indeed, he sacrifice those few days dying below our car without even noticing it. T_T And I realize, the day we were both happy and giggling was our last moment together. The first time I experienced the lost of a dog due to death was in 2005. Her name was Bo-bo. Late one night we heard a thud and whining sounds from outside (we kept the dog outside the house). When we saw Bo-bo she was lopsided and sort of like having seizures. The thud sound was caused by her bumping into some wood planks because her movement was not balanced. We could only sent her to the vet the next day. She was diagnosed with canine distemper, a serious viral disease and her condition was very bad. The vet said that we could try to give her treatment but it seemed futile and might only prolonged her pain. He suggested to put her to sleep. It was too much for me and I cried. The vet gave us until the next day to decide. When we left the clinic she was still having seizures and in pain. That night I made the hard decision, which is to give her the injection. The next day while just at work, my mom informed that the vet called her saying that Bo-bo died on her own in the early hours of the morning. She spared us from giving her the injection. Just a week before we were celebrating Chinese New Year festival where I gave her a new collar, and suddenly she was no more. It brings tears when I remember her again, and I hope she is ok wherever she is now.

When a man's bestfriend died with that kind of sickness, really hurts me! T_T I want my dog to come back to me but God had sent him to heaven now. I know he's so happy there. ;) I hope we could see each others soon! : Bobby (my dog), wait for me!!!!! ;) I'll be there for you soon~ I want to play with you again! ;)
